KEWPIE Brings the Flavour to Sabah — Celebrating 100 Years of Mayonnaise!
KEWPIE Malaysia proudly joined the Tastefully Sabah event at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) from 3–5 October, bringing a flavorful celebration of “The Taste of Malaysia” to the East Malaysian crowd. This participation marked another exciting chapter in KEWPIE’s 100th Mayonnaise Anniversary Celebration, showcasing the brand’s heritage and local connection.

While KEWPIE is widely recognized as a trusted brand from Japan, the event also highlighted the “Get to Know KEWPIE” session also highlighted that all KEWPIE products produced in Melaka Serkam are HALAL-certified by JAKIM, ensuring every Malaysian family can enjoy KEWPIE with confidence.

The booth featured sampling activities where visitors indulged in KEWPIE Japanese Style Mayonnaise, a household favorite, as well as Egg Sandwich Spreads — a perfect, kid-friendly option for busy parents. Attendees also got to taste chicken marinated with KEWPIE mayonnaise, proving how versatile and easy KEWPIE can make every day cooking.

To make the celebration even more exciting, visitors who purchased any KEWPIE product sets had the chance to spin the wheel and win exclusive KEWPIE merchandise or a limited-edition blind box — specially created for this anniversary shout-out.

Beyond food and fun, KEWPIE also hosted interactive activities that engaged families and children. The “Get to Know KEWPIE” session educated consumers that KEWPIE products are HALAL-certified and locally manufactured. Other highlights included pop quizzes, a Potato & Carrot Shaking Workshop, and a Family Egg Sandwich Workshop, all designed to strengthen family bonds and connect consumers with KEWPIE’s brand values.
