On February 13, 2025, KEWPIE was honored to be part of the Japan Emperor’s Birthday Reception at the Consular Office of Japan in Kota Kinabalu. This prestigious gathering brought together 300 distinguished guests, including the Governor of Sabah and other dignitaries, making it a wonderful opportunity to introduce KEWPIE’s flavors to the community.

The evening began with a warm welcome from the Japanese Ambassador, who highlighted KEWPIE’s presence as a well-loved Japanese brand in Malaysia. It was a proud moment to share our passion for bringing authentic and delicious flavors to Malaysian homes.

A Taste of KEWPIE’s Signature Flavors
At our tasting island, guests enjoyed crispy chicken popcorn, paired with a selection of KEWPIE’s flavourful sauces:

• KEWPIE Mayonnaise Japanese Style – A timeless classic, rich and creamy.
• KEWPIE Hot Spicy Dressing – A bold, fiery choice for those who love a little heat.
• KEWPIE Chili Mayo – A perfect balance of creaminess and spice
• KEWPIE Honey Mustard – A delightful mix of sweetness and tanginess.

In addition, we prepared 300 servings of KEWPIE potato salad, made with KEWPIE Mayonnaise Japanese Style, offering guests a comforting and familiar taste. 

Beyond our own creations, we also had the pleasure of sponsoring KEWPIE Mayonnaise to the hotel chef, who crafted a delicious tamago sandwich using our signature mayo. The soft, fluffy eggs paired with the rich and creamy KEWPIE Mayonnaise made for an unforgettable dish that perfectly captured the essence of Japanese comfort food.

It was truly heartwarming to see guests enjoying our offerings and appreciating the versatility of KEWPIE dressings. The evening was filled with smiles, good conversations, and shared moments over delicious food.
