Kewpie and Otafuku Collaborate to Celebrate Otafuku's 100th Anniversary
Kewpie recently partnered with Otafuku to celebrate Otafuku's remarkable 100 years of anniversary. This momentous occasion was celebrated through a six-day event held at Aeon Shah Alam from June 27th to July 2nd, 2023.
The event showcased various promotional activities and sampling sessions, allowing customers to indulge in the delightful flavors of Kewpie's pasta sauces. Attendees had the opportunity to experience the enticing KEWPIE pasta sauce soy sauce & garlic butter taste and KEWPIE pasta sauce seafood and spices.
One of the highlights of the event was the exclusive appearance of Japanese Key Opinion Leader (KOL), KAZU, who graced the celebration with their presence on a designated day. KAZU's participation added an extra element of excitement and generated even more buzz around the event.
On July 2nd, Kewpie's Corporate chef, Alex took center stage at the Aeon Shah Alam's Centre Court, captivating the audience with a live cooking demonstration under the theme "Experience Taste With KEWPIE." The chef's expertise delighted attendees as they were introduced to three extraordinary dishes that expertly combined Japanese culinary with a local Malaysian touch.
The showcased dishes included the KEWPIE Creamy Spicy Rice Cakes, the tantalizing KEWPIE Spicy Ulam Sushi Rice Ball, and the flavoursome KEWPIE Ikan Bilis Potato Salad with Kicap Manis. These fusion creations impressed the audience, as the blend of Japanese and local Malaysian flavors showcased the culinary innovation of Kewpie.
