Ebi Mayo(Fried Shrimp in Mayonnaise Sauce)

March 1 2016 was mayonnaise day in Japan! and to celebrate this wondrous occasion, Kewpie Malaysia too would like to join in the celebration by sharing a simple menu using the famous Kewpie Japanese Style Mayonnaise.

PRODUCT(S) YOU NEED FOR THIS DISH:
Japanese Style Mayonnaise

Ingredient

Shrimps 12nos
Cherry Tomatoes 40 g
Kewpie Japanese Style Mayonnaise 40ml
Corn Starch 50 g
Tomato Ketchup  30 ml
Dry Parsley As Garnish
Lemon Juice As needed

Instructions

  1. Remove the shells from the shrimp, and deepfry them in hot oil until golden brown.
  2. In a separate pan, stir in Kewpie Japanese style Mayonnaise with a little bit of Tomato ketchup in slow heat. 
  3. Once prawns are fried and crispy, throw them into the sauce pan and stir fry 
  4. Add some lemon juice and garnish with parsley and it's ready to be served!
